Mélissandre Lincourt: on the podium twice at the International Bromont

Bromont, July 19, 2014 – Quebec rider Mélissandre Lincourt, took first and third place in the Hunter Derby of the International Bromont, today July 19, on the Olympic site.

A strong participation

The Hunter Derby event was one of the most popular this week at International Bromont: no less than 35 rider/horse pairs competed on Evelyn Frique’s course, in the international ring of the Bromont Olympic site.

Quebec rider Mélissandre Lincourt, who participated with several mounts, faced a strong competition. On the course, she opted to go for all the options, thus getting the highest marks for that portion of the course.

With her three horses, she dominated the Top 10: first with Sugar Ray, owned by Brigitte Leroux, third with It’s Coolman, a Finca Horses’ entry, as well as eighth with Iceburg, Jeannine Deluca’s horse.

Grand Prix on Sunday

International Bromont’s FEI events will end on Sunday with the FEI 1.60 m Grand Prix and its $ 100 000 money purse. Until then, International will feature the much anticipated Royal Canin Challenge on July 20, preceding to the Grand Prix.
